About the author

Harris Golden, a self-proclaimed “Pretzelogist”, is the founder of the San Diego Pretzel Co. established in 1995.  Prior to starting his business, Harris was the Executive Chef at Elizabeth Arden’s Maine Chance for eighteen years.  At the resort, he lectured on healthy fine dining to an international clientele.  He has written articles in Food Arts and Bon Appetit magazines, and is the author of two cookbooks, Golden’s Kitchen and Pleasures of The Palate.  Harris has co-authored a feature length screen play Happy Brothers’ Chicken FarmSinging Gardener is his first novelette.  When he's not penning tales and recipes, he's out exploring the world, cherishing moments with family and friends, tending to his garden, reading, and playing billiards.
